Welcome to the Callander Community Council.

The community council is elected body comprising 14 people from the Town and surrounding area. It is the formal link between the community and the various administrations in the area. It meets every month to discuss a range of issues, organises public meetings for major issues and maintains a continuous dialogue with Stirling Council, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and other government organisations.

The range of subjects we deal with include:

• Cemeteries
• Community Care
• Flooding
• Housing
• Natural environment
• Planning
• Public buildings
• Roads, pavements and car parks
• Rural transport
• Signage 
• Visitor management
• Wider links with neighbouring communities 

Much of this work is undertaken in partnership with other community groups such as:
